LSO passes motion as to who may provide Paralegal Services in Ontario
MAY 14, 2021 – At the AGM of the Law Society of Ontario the members of the LSO passed the motion to revoke exemptions as to who may provide paralegal services in Ontario.
The next step, the motion will be presented to convocation for their approval, or not.
This is a major step forward for the public and paralegals in Ontario. This will eliminate unlicensed, uninsured, and unqualified persons from providing paralegal services in the province.
